Tarik Faouzi is Chief Platform and Product Officer of Managed.com. He has spent 30 years bringing new products and services to market, in several cases ahead of the category they now belong to. He leads product and platform across the group, spanning wholesale platform services, partner channels, and retail hosting.
A career building new products
Tarik started his career building an online travel booking business in Morocco, in the early days of the web. He went on to lead transformation programs as companies moved off AS/400 systems onto client-server architecture, and founded a software company that used algorithms to optimize inventory across supply chains, delivering projects across industries including financial services and supply chain services.
Building CloudBlue
At Ingram Micro, Tarik led development of the cloud services platform that became CloudBlue, supporting the company's cloud growth in the years that followed. He has led turnarounds throughout his career, CloudBlue among them, most recently through its 2025 carve-out from Ingram Micro into HostPapa, where he served as General Manager before taking on his current role.
In property management
From 2022 to 2025, Tarik was Chief Executive Officer of a property management business he had invested in, where he used automation to support growth and remove friction for tenants. He introduced an AI agent for tenant support and a fully digital onboarding path, letting tenants find a unit, tour it on their own, and sign the contract online.
My focus has always been the same. Find a problem worth solving, then use technology to solve it. Sometimes that opens a new market. Sometimes it makes an existing business run better. Both are worth the effort. When I look at a product, I ask three things. Does it help our customers grow? Does it help them serve their own customers better? Does it take work out of their day? If the answer is yes, we are building the right thing.
